On "A Different Nature' we often focus on long, sometimes very long musical works. Tonight's show takes the opposite approach, with nothing longer than 3 minutes duration --many less than one minute in length. Featured composers & artists will include John Luther Adams, Laurie Anderson, Jorge Antunes, Art Zoyd, John Cage, George Crumb, Francis Dhomont, Tod Dockstader, Arnold Dreyblatt, Lou Harrison, Teiji Ito, Joan La Barbara, Margaret Leng Tan, Moondog, Ikue Mori, Pauline Oliveros, Hans Reichel, and Frank Zappa, etc.
