Hi again,
1.
So with #72 sent (twice, sorry) I have finished "scripting" all the
material that I had selected over the past few months of reading all
the books I had collected.  Text files #33-72 are the palette of
material I found interesting and thought might turn into something
engaging on the air, for various reasons.  And I tried to keep the
selection broad.
This is material now available for all and any to use (in 2001 we passed around photocopies), as well as for
myself (except in those cases where someone has already indicated they
are using the material ... and I'll be sending out 3 more text pieces I'm soloing, shortly).
This does not mean that you are in any
way limited to this material.  A festival is supposed to be about
the tastes of more than one individual and that is especially true for
this kind of material.
But for those looking for ideas and not caring to pour through the
books themselves, jump right into any of these pdf files.  Most
pieces aren't that long and read quite fast.
I had promised some women that I would produce more Gertrude Stein, but
I took a couple of runs at two of her smaller and easier "plays" and
just couldn't transcribe.  Sorry, my talents aren't up to her's.
And for those who notice a lack of Hugo Ball and Richard Hulsenbeck, I
mined them pretty heavily for material already in 2001.  If you
want to find some excellent text by both, go to "Blago Blago Bung Bosso
Fataka!" available at central library and from Rolf.
2.
I especially want to thank DJ Wagner who has been proofreading the
material for me.  I wouldn't be pounding it out so quickly if it
wasn't for her assistance.
While thanking,  Glen Owen is presently downloading  and
archiving historical material from the internet, setting it up for our
use during the
festival.
Labor unseen but deeply appreciated, especially when their work helps
get us all to the part where we can just play ... coming soon.

Grace has suggested that we major producers who will be using lots of
studio time should coordinate our times and reserve regular periods
throughout the week where individuals who need recordings made but
don't know how can come in to get those recordings done.  And if
noone shows up, we producers can work on our own projects.
So expect a schedule of available recording times as soon as we get
ourselves coordinated, hopefully this weekend or first of next week.
5.
Please take a look at the poetry especially in 33-72 and consider
readings/performances beyond your own event(s).  I would really
like to have the 101 hours constantly full of little bursts of poetry
coming from as many voices as possible.
Thanks everyone,
love
