Self Publishing and the Social Life of the Book: Creating Public Conversations

This week on the Digital Divide, Suzanne LaGrande talks with write, editor and co-founder of the Publication Studio, Matthew Stadler.

In 2009, Matthew Stadler and Patricia No founded the Publication Studio in a storefront in downtown Portland. They are a print-on0demand publisher that prints and binds books by hand. In two years they've published close to 150 books and now has seven "sibling studios" producing original books in Berkeley, CA, Vancouver, BC, Canada, Chicago, IL, Los Angeles, CA, Boston, MA, and Bordeaux, FR.
