The Board of Directors - Meets the 4th Monday of each month starting at 6:00 pm

Development Committee - Meets the 3rd Thursday of every month from 4 - 6 at KBOO. For more info contact KBOO's Development Director

Events Committee - This committee coordinates events and outreach. For more info, contact Ani Haines

Engineering Workgroup - First Thursday of the month at 7:30 pm. Contact Tom Hood

Finance Committee - Meets the second Wednesday of every month at 4:30 pm. Contact: Michael Wells

Governance Committee meets on an ad hoc basis. Contact: Timothy Welp, Board President

KBOO's fiscal year runs from Oct 1 thru Sept 30 and we manage our finances within the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, the legal requirements governing Oregon nonprofits, and with respect to the members and community intentions in maintaining KBOO's mission.

KBOO's Community Advisory Board (CAB)

KBOO Community Radio holds open meetings concerning the operations and programming of KBOO in accordance with requirements of the Communications Act of 1934, 47 U.S.C. 396, et seq. as amended, and certification requirements promulgated by the Corporation for Public Broadcasting. Information about KBOO Community Radio’s open meeting policy is also announced regularly on the air in the Pacific Northwest.

The Community Advisory Board (CAB) shall be permitted to review the programming goals established by the station, the service provided by the station, and the significant policy decisions rendered by the station. The board may also be delegated any other responsibilities, as determined by the governing body of the station. The board shall advise the governing body of the station with respect to whether the programming and other policies of the station are meeting the specialized educational and cultural needs of the communities served by the station, and may make such recommendations as it considers appropriate to meet such needs.

The role of the board shall be solely advisory in nature, except to the extent other responsibilities are delegated to the board by the governing body of the station. In no case shall the board have any authority to exercise any control over the daily management or operation of the station.
