A year ago, we let go of 2020 with the hopes for a much better 2021. And 2021 started out promising, for the first five days. Then came the Capitol Insurrection, the Republican surrender to total Trumpism, record-breaking weather disasters, disastrous fires and two new surges of Covid, just as vaccines were giving us hope. But the year was not totally bleak.
On this episode of Locus Focus we talk with inveterate optimist Eric de Place, until recently with Sightline Institute in Seattle, about the ups and downs of the past year and some surprising victories we were actually able to achieve.
