Lyle is a Lifetime Member of the Actors Studio, and serves as head of their Playwright and Directors Unit. This is a rare opportunity to create theater with some of the brightest talents in New York. Lyle Kessler is a member of NYC’s LAByrinth Theater Company. He served as Director of the Sundance Screenwriter’s Lab. His Tony nominated play Orphans has been being produced world-wide in countries as diverse as Japan, Turkey, Spain, France and Australia. Collision was produced at New York’s Rattlestick Theater, and Robbers was produced at the American Place. Mr. Kessler is an actor who studied with Lee Strasberg and actually played him in Mark Rydell’s film James Dean, starring James Franco.
