Please join us on Monday, April 4th at 6:30 pm for Prison Pipeline on KBOO Community Radio as we talk with Drastic Measures about Georgia deaths in custody.  Drastic Measures joins us on KBOO from inside of a private prison in Georgia to discuss 43 deaths in custody in 2021.  We will also be joined by Barbara Haywood, an ex-corrections officer and Anitra Rasberry, a friend and family member of Drastic.  Drastic Measures would like to get the story out about what is going on behind the fences and walls of Georgia state prisons and raise awareness about what is an all too common experience at prisons not just in Georgia, but a reality in jails and prisons across the country where any inmate death in custody should always be viewed as suspicious.

Prison Pipeline is a radio program dedicated to educating the public about the Oregon criminal justice system. Our goal is to present a unique understanding of the criminal justice system, address the root causes of crime, and challenge the status quo. We seek to promote awareness and activism in order to foster a safe, healthy, and just society. Tune in every Monday at 6:30 P.M. to hear our hosts Karen James, Adam Carpinelli,  Emma Lugo, and Doug McVay explore the Oregon justice system with a variety of guests.
