Dirty Queers, live music from Jill Silk and more on Out Loud Radio

Tonight we highlight Dirty Queer, which happens on the second Friday of the month at In Other Words.  Dirty Queer is celebrating their fourth anniversary on Friday Jan 14! Hosted by renegade writer and poet Sossity Chiricuzio, Dirty Queer is an X-rated open mic has been a place to celebrate sexuality and strut your creative stuff! We hear from Dirty Queers who attended last year’s three-year anniversary, as they tell us what DQ means to them.  We also hear Sossity read ‘Outlaw’, from her recently-released Hand to Mouth CD.

Between Dirty Queers, we hear live music from Jill Silk. Jill played ‘Settle Up’, ‘Different Light’ and ‘Angle of Virginia’. Jill’s next gig is on Friday Jan 14 at the Gotham Tavern. Annie Vergnetti will also play a set.
