Is a "United Front" against fascism, neoliberal capitalism and climate catastrophe possible?

Host Paul Roland returns after a three-week hiatus. Today he welcomes as guest David Rovics, who has been writing and performing politically charged music for decades, and has increasingly turned to writing about critical social and political issues, including those preventing the Left from becoming a more powerful force when we really need it.

In the face of unprecedented, intersecting crises, the forces of what we know of as the "Left" continue to be more divided than united, facilitating the worrsening of the problems of economic injustice, climate chaos and political stalemate.

Some of the internal conflicts on the Left we'll be discussing are

Liberal vs radical analysis and action

Free discourse vs. no-platforming

Real organizing vs. cancellation campaigning

Inclusive vs. exclusive organizing

finding common ground vs. forming silos
