On this episode of The Gap, Tammy and Althea discuss: the 25 Republican governors signing on to the idea that there's an "invasion" at the border and Biden isn't doing enough so they want to send their National Guardspeople there to put up more razor wire? Portland City Council votes unanimously to sue OPB and one of their reporters to keep info on which big businesses pay into the Portland Clean Energy Fund. Dan Ryan is running for City Council again, the short legislative session is coming and the Supreme Court picks up an Oregon homelessness story.

Then, we ask our listeners, what is a thing/habit/trait that you've inherited from people in your life? What is something you hope younger people inherit from you? We hear some lovely whistling, think about the more off-the-beaten-path things to inherit, and consider how legal inheritance is constricted and controlled by white supremacy and colonial structures!

Thank you to everyone who called in and messaged us about the inheritance question!
