This week on Century of Lies: A Gender Perspective on Substance Use.

The United Nations Commission on Narcotic Drugs held its Sixty-Eighth Session in Vienna, Austria back in March. One of the side events at this year’s CND was entitled Breaking Barriers – A Gender Perspective on Substance Use, which examined gender-specific challenges faced by women in substance use treatment and policy-making.

On this edition of Century we hear presentations by some of the panelists including  Doctor Corina Giacomello, an academic and researcher based in Mexico who’s a consultant with the Pompidou Group; Zara Snapp, co-founder and director of Instituto RIA; and Ganna Dovbakh, Executive Director of the Eurasian Harm Reduction Association.
