The Organizers: remembering activist Dan Handelman; sneak peek at documentary The Israeli.  This episode is hosted by Jon Nelson and features these segments:

Documentary The Israeli:  Filmmaker Jordan Karr-Morse talks with Frann Michel about his feature documentary-in-progress, The Israeli, about the remarkable ideological journey of prominent Israeli-American activist and author Miko Peled, from Zionist to Palestinian Rights Activist.  There will be a sneak peek at the film Monday, July 7, from 7pm-9pm at the Clinton Street Theater.  The evening also includes a screening of the short film The Orphan, which follows 90-year-old Holocaust survivor Jacques Bude as he recounts his time in post-war Israel, and why his experience with genocide compelled him to the Palestinian cause. That film was directed by Karr-Morse and produced by Peled.

Remembering Dan Handelman: In the second of a two-part segment, Desiree Hellegers brings audio excepts from recent memorial services for Handelman, who died in April at age 60. Donna Hayes, Debbie Aiona, P.C. Peri, and the Reverend Dr. Leroy Haynes, among others, reflect on his organizing legacy.
