Then, we listen in to testimony from Portlanders at the City Council Community and Public Safety Committee meeting on Tuesday, January 13th. The councilors are considering a new ordinance to ban law enforcement from wearing masks to conceal their identity, a widely criticized practiced used by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). Many of the testifiers pushed for the council to go further to stopping ICE attacks in Portland.
