This one-day event will be held Saturday, May 2nd at PSU Hoffman Hall in Portland. The event is designed to inform, challenge and inspire as we explore the history and current use of solitary confinement; examine the well-documented physical and psychological harms of isolation; hear firsthand from people who have experienced solitary confinement in Oregon prisons; and learn about concrete strategies to end this practice and how you can take action.
