On tonight's show, we welcome comedians, Oregon Safe Schools & Communities Coalition, and spoken word artists.

Our first segment features Belinda Carroll and Sandra Valls, who are both performing at the Pride Comedy Showcase on June 14. June is Pride month, and there are many events celebrating our community. Check out the Pride NW Guide here.

Our first music break is 'Mary', a new song from The I's. The I's are opening for Andrea Gibson & Tara Hardy on Thurs June 7 at 24Ten, located at 2410 N Mississippi Ave. Show starts at 8pm and tickets available at the door.

Next we welcome Aaron Ridings, from Oregon Safe Schools and Communities Coalition, and Trish Walsh, from Ogalla. Ogalla is the LGBTQ Bar Association of Oregon. Aaron and Trish share some background on the work of Oregon Safe Schools, and they update us on the statewide Safe Schools survey that happened recently.

We take a break to hear from Andrea Gibson titled 'Maybe I Need You'.

Aleks Stefanova joins us to invite everyone to the Tara Hardy & Andrea Gibson spoken word event happening on Thursday June 7th. The I's are opening & the show starts at 8pm. Aleks is a talented spoken word artist herself, and she is the founder of Q Poetry. She hosts a monthly Awkward Open Mic event, with the next one on June 16th.
