Ashlee Albies of the Albina Ministerial Alliance discusses the ongoing legal case of Ron Frashour

KBOO's Jennifer Kemp spoke with Albina Ministerial Alliance attorney Ashlee Albies about the continuing legal battles regarding the case of Ron Frashour. To give a little background, Ron Frashour is the Portland police officer responsible for the fatal shooting of Aaron Campbell in 2010. Frashour was dismissed from the Portland police force, however he was reinistated by arbitrator Jane Wilkonson in March 2012. Mayor Sam Adams overruled this ruling, with the goal of keeping Frashour off the force. The Albina Ministerial Alliance, which represents Portland community member and particularly African-American community members (Campbell was black), is filing a legal brief in the case. Albies discusses the case as well as talking about the role of police trainings.
