Don Merrill talks w/Portland Copwatch's Dan Handelman on the 5-yr arrest anniv. of Mohammed Mohamud
Friday, November 27, marked 5 years since the FBI set up Somali American teenager Mohammed Mohamud in a sting operation at the Christmas Tree lighting ceremony at Portland's Pioneer Courthouse Square. Portland Copwatch among other organizations, were part of a moving protest around the square as thousands of Portlanders participated in the annual event. KBOO's Don Merrill talked with Dan Handelman of Portland Copwatch about the anniversary of the sting and his efforts to remind people, as he says, that "bombs are falling as people are shopping".
