Children's Music to Disturb You

International Children's Day?

Alejandro:  Yes. It's also Music for children, written for Children, as Cri-Cri, Free to be You and Me. Also games. It's called for adults I guess because of the generation that is playing it, and also not so many kids listen to the radio (at that time).

"Lockjaw" Lindsay:  Children's records, either older kid's records from the golden age of kiddie records or records by kids, but it's it's billed as being for adults because children don't listen to records anymore. They just play X-Box and Wii.
In NuAmerica, the games play with YOU...

Dr. Zomb:  I t will be material (mostly music) by, for, and about children.  Some will be serious, some will be silly and some will be just plain weird!

This last-minute spring special runs 8:00 pm - Midnight, this Friday, with Alejandro, Lockjaw and Dr. Zomb.

Comments

Are you going to (say yes, please) provide a playlist from this evening's show?   There was a pretty good funky song with a bit of (perhaps) spoken word included and I think someone said it was done in the 1970's by a 6 year old girl named Angela?  ( I came to the song late and did not know if the 'Angela' and 6 year old reference was to this song or the one that came afterwords.  Probably around 9:10 PM.

Incidently, the song that played AFTER the one I'm thinking of was that girl doing the 'lollypop' song and singing about 'how does the Easter Bunny count'.   And that's why I don't know if the Angela and age 6 reference is to the song I am after or to the song that followed.

Anyway, thanks for the show.  Very interesting and certainly music I've not heard before.

i just got home at 11. wish i could have heard more. so wonderful.
