Special Programming: Music on 11/24/11

For many of us Thanksgiving wouldn't be Thanksgiving without some "soul food," so tune in Thursday, November 24 as KBOO serves up some good old soul food with all the fixings.  Jay Jay Johnson, host of the Sunday morning "Gospel Express" will present some old school, slow jams, rhythm & blues, jazz, and contemporary spiritual sounds (Noon - 4:00 pm) while Shaheed Haamid, host of "It Takes A Village" will present his own slow jams, R&B, jazz, and more surprises (4:00 - 8:00 pm). Artists include Angie Stone, the Dramatics, D'Angelo, Phil Perry, the Whispers, Silk, Charlie Wilson, Will Downey, Keith Sweat, Stevie Wonder, the Mac Band, Chaka Khan, Monica, Marvin Gaye, the Temptations, and many more.
