Tonight!!! on THE MELTING POT Pledge Drive Special

Well be getting Funky with Feartured Artsts ALL GOOD FUNK ALLIANCE. Ill be touching base with them about the New Album JACK OF ALL TRADES and the evolution of their sound.

Made up of Frank Cueto and Rusty Belicek, All Good Funk Alliance has opened up for the legendary James Brownand appeared on the Breakspoll Top 50 list. In other words, these guys are no strangers to the funk. And while their musical tastes range the gamut, when Frank and Rusty join forces the end result is always the same: they deliver a sound that is funky, fun and fresh.

Recognized as influential pioneers of the Nu-Funk and mid-tempo breaks sounds, AGFA’s innovation and originality has earned them universal respect across the breaks industry. Now, poised to unleash a fresh new album brimming with unreleased music that encompasses multiple genres, All Good Funk Alliance is ready to kick off the latest chapter in their book of funk.

The All Good Funk Alliance are no strangers to Fort Knox Recordings. The two musical geniuses behind AGFA are some of our closest compatriots. They have been releasing music and remixing with us since the beginning. Their expertise in all aspects of mu- sical production have helped them create a signature sound that always relies on expert drum and percussion programming, space aged synth sounds, and big bouncy bass lines. Frank Cueto and Rusty Belicek are the masterminds behind the Alliance and they have built a solid reputation for creating a definitive catalog of tracks that are always funky, fun and fresh.

All Good Funk Alliance is back with the release of their latest full length album, Jacks Of All Trades, coming out on Fort Knox Recordings in May of 2012. After the Rhythm and FX EP that shook up the scene in March, this album continues that vibe and lives up to its title as AGFA serves it up with their rock solid production. The album spans the stylistic soundscape that has carved their niche in the Electro funk scene of today. Future Go Go, Nu Disco, Hip Hop, and Space Funk are just some of the terms used to describe the flavor of this album. All Good Funk Alliance recruited a slew of top International vocalists and MCs, including Rubber Johnson, Think Thank, Bigstuff, Mustafa Akbar, Empresarios, and Piper Davis.

Mr. Hipnoid featuring Rubber Johnson takes you back to a time of intelligent hip hop with massive boogie disco horns, crazy slap bass, big breakbeats, and vocals that will blow up any spot! Throw Down featuring Neighbour and Think Tank, will rock festival crowds all summer long with funky vocals, twisted synths, and a gritty bass line. In The Rain featuring Empresarios, has that fresh tropics, beach party style feel to it. Filled with synth stabs and a funky bass bouncing through the rhythms, this song is a sure fire hit! I Don’t Care If It’s Your Birthday has that signature AGFA mid-tempo breaks sound to it that people have come to know and love. Go-Go Bananas features the vocal powerhouse Mustafa Akbar belting out a party mantra over a future Go Go jam! Piper Davis closes out the album with her dreamy vocals on the space age electro pop finale, Closer To The Edge. These are just a few of the 13 genre crossing songs on the album that illustrate that All Good Funk Alliance are true Jacks Of All Trades.

AGFA has once again proven why their tracks are played across the globe on dance floors of the highest caliber. With handfuls of gems on this album, your funk weapons have officially been re-loaded.
