Bread and Roses welcomes Sabrina Blair, Customer Relations Manager at Sprig Health, and Rebecca Horn, Sprig Health customer.
Sabrina Blair was a high-tech executive, wife, and mother who lived at Internet-speed and then suffered a stroke. Sabrina recovered with new awareness of the importance of self-care, and a calling to help others maintain their health.
Sabrina Blair now works for Sprig Health, a Portland-based company with a vision to "change the U. S. health system by introducing a common sense alternative to health insurance". They provide individuals, with or without health insurance, with direct access to providers and services at affordable, discounted prices. "Head-to-Toe"services include primary care, alternative medicine, urgent care, women's wellness, pediatric care, lab tests, immunizations, diagnostic imaging, dental, vision, dermatology, sports physicals, massage therapy, chiropractic care, acupuncture, counseling, physical therapy, etc.
Rebecca Horn is a Sprig Health customer whose employee group insurance was dropped. Days after her coverage ended she had to have emergency surgery. High medical bills forced her to put off having a mammogram, despite a prior mammogram that found something to be watched. Rebecca will share her experiences utilizing Sprig Health to locate affordable health services.
