Ernest & Celestine co-director Benjamin Renner joins Words & Pictures
The César Award-winning French film Ernest & Celestine was recently nominated for an Academy Award for best Animated Feature. Adapted from Gabrielle Vincent's beloved storybook series by Benjamin Renner, along with co-directors Stéphane Aubier and Vincent Patar, Ernest & Celestine tells the tale of a plucky orphaned mouse's unlikely friendship with a mischief-making bear. Benjamin Renner joins Words & Pictures host S.W. Conser in the KBOO studios to introduce this beautifully realized film to Portland audiences.
