We'll also be talking tomorrow with Kiera Hansen of Cascade AIDS Project about the Peer Education Program at Chat PDX. CHATpdx's Peer Educator program provides skills, resources and training for young people taking action to end HIV/AIDS.
Peer Educators meet weekly to talk about topics like: Healthier Relationships, Gender, Sexual Orientation, Working in solidarity with marginalized communities, STIs, Safer Sex, and HIV/AIDS. It's a 20-week program to become a Peer Educator; the next orientation is Jan 24th. We'll also have a couple of current Peer Educators with us! We'll see you on the radio....
