Ani and Lyn try to make sense of the recent events in Paris
Is it possible to have a response to the horrific murders of the staff of the French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo that does not include racists assumptions or calls for war.

Is it possible to be subjecting a large portion of the planet to increasingly brutal, violent and sadistic tactics on every side of the fence and not have them come "home to roost"?

The middle eastern scholar Juan Cole has offered this "We have a model for a response to terrorist provocation and attempts at sharpening the contradictions. It is Norway after Anders Behring Berivik committed mass murder of Norwegian leftists for being too soft on Islam. The Norwegian government launched no war on terror. They tried Berivik in court as a common criminal. They remained committed to their admirable Norwegian values"

What say you dear listener? A subject for conversation rather than hyperbole. Call in with your comments.
