Celebrating Pigpen's 70th birthday.
A tribute to Ron 'Pigpen' McKernan, who had the crazy idea to transform Mother McCree's Uptown Jug Champion's into an electric rock and roll band, ultimately known as The Grateful Dead. Pigpen's 70th birthday was September 8th, 2015.
This show will feature great versions of many standard Pig covers, but also some pretty obscure, rarely (and never) performed material, including originals. But you'll have to tune in to find out what.
