Police on Trial, Police without Firearms, and Policing as if All Human Life Has Equal Value

Host Jo Ann Hardesty looks at recent cases of police on trial for rape in Oklahoma and murder in Baltimore, Texas, etc. In addition, a group of senior police officers from around the country recently visited Scotland to observe and learn from police who do their jobs without firearms. Their policing philosophy is that all human life has equal value. Police officers' lives are not worth more or less than others' lives. Police also live in the community they police.
We will discuss what we can learn from all the above stories and what it will take to radically reform policing in this country!
