Climatolgist Paul Beckwith sounds the alarm on foreboding changes in the Arctic
There is a real possibility that we are already entering into runaway climate change, with the unprecedented loss of Arctic sea ice at this time of year. But most institutions, media outlets, politicians, corporations, etc. continue as if there is no real urgency. As Climatologist Paul Beckwith asks in a new Youtube video on the risk of abrupt climate change (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5vaIjs5lC3U ), "What, are we in the Twilight Zone?"
Beckwith is with the Laboratory for Paleoclimatology and Climatology and a part-time professor at the University of Ottawa in Canada. He is currently working on his PhD in abrupt climate change. His website is http://paulbeckwith.net/
