Rak Razam is the host of the new web documentary series called Shamans of the Global Village, which focuses on indigenous psychoactive medicines and the Western shamanic resurgence. He is a founder of Terra Incognita, a non-profit dedicated to the scientific exploration of consciousness and spirituality ... and supporting the sustainability of indigenous shamanic medicines.
Rak is the author of AYA Awakenings: A Shamanic Odyssey, the travel-memoir of his time with shamans in the Peruvian Amazon AND The Ayahuasca Sessions: Conversations with Amazonian Curanderos and Western Shamans, a companion book. He also wrote the screenplay for the documentary of the same name based on the memoir. His podcast, In a Perfect World, charts the meetings, musings and collective dreamings of the Ultraculture of the 21st century. He hosts dynamic presentations, facilitates panel discussions and lectures across Australia and North America, which weave together New Age, counterculture and progressive thought. Rak has been called one of the "leading spokespersons for the new paradigm."
