Is Resident Rump so incredibly corrupt that he can be taken down even by a mendacious and hypocritical fearmongering campaign? There are so many things that disgust me about Resident Rump, that I don't know where to start. Most of these things are open reasons why no one should have voted for him, whether in the primaries or in the Presidential election. Hold your nose for a moment and I'll list a few: he's a walking warning against toxic masculinity, hubris, narcissism, shallowness, venality, greed, cruelty, and bigotry; he has a well-known history of thuggish behavior, from refusing to pay workers to stiffing whole states after making false promises. His King Midas tastes are a permanent embarrassment, and grist for stereotype mockery of Americans. His mind is clearly inadequate to the task of the Presidency, and is failing from dementia in any case. His policies are a clear and present danger to the survival of USA citizens, from his build-a-wall bigotry to his pointless bombardment of Syria, and his threats against North Korea. He lies, he lies, he lies. But it's probably not true in any substantial way that his dalliance with Russians stole the election.
