Ani and Lyn talk with Brenna Bell from BARK about what's happening with our public forrests

We're so happy to welcome back BARK, Watchdog organization for Mt. Hood National Forrest, attorney Brenna Bell who is going to get us up to speed about; a)  the movement to privatize public lands (which is part of the official Republican Party platform as well as the alt-right groups); b) regressive bills in Congress and bad actors in the current administration threatening the health of the PUBLIC forests. On a positive note Brenna will discuss the movement to value public forests for their incredible ability to sequester carbon and mitigate some of the impacts of climate change. Also, how folks can get involved in pushing the forest service to manage for carbon sequestration, rather than extraction, which is a major carbon polluter. Please join us with your questions or comments at 503-231-8187
