Acoustic singer-songwriter Eddie Berman folk-rocks the Songcircle.
To hear his music, which can evoke such beloved British acts as Nick Drake and Fairport Convention, you might be surprised to learn that Eddie Berman grew up in Los Angeles. He's currently based in Portland, and visits KBOO as he prepares for a West Coast tour and the release of a new album.
We'll also pay tribute to the renowned and newly departed playwright and actor Sam Shepard with a song about him (by Joni Mitchell), a song by him (in collaboration with Bob Dylan), and a song he plays on (with the Holy Modal Rounders). And you can bet we'll talk about the weather!
