Understanding and Moving Beyond the Current Prison Crisis

A conversation wih Nicole Lindahl about Mass Incarceration, "the racial justice issue of our time."

This November at the Portland Underground Graduate School Dr. Lindahl will teach a course entitled, "Mass Incarceration & The War on Drugs: Understanding & Moving Beyond the Current Prison Crisis". The students will examine the roots and real-life experiences of mass incarceration, and  hear from local experts who have been directly impacted by the system and are working for change.  In addition, in the last two classes, the participants will co-create class projects aimed at disrupting mass incarceration at the local level.
