Tonight KBOO's spoken word radio show presents Portland queer poets Ross Robbins and Nathan Wade Carter who will share poems from their most recent books. Patrick Bocarde will host. Talking Earth can be heard at 90.7 FM in the Portland area from 10 to 11 pm on the second and third Mondays of each month. Listeners from outside Oregon can listen online at KBOO.FM.

Ross Robbins is a poet and painter based in Portland, Oregon. Atomic Theory Micro Press published his most recent chapbook, 'The Book of Definitions' in August 2017. His previous publications include I Want to Say How I Feel and be Done With It Forever (Bone Tax Press, 2013), All In Black Blood My Love Went Riding (Two Plum Press, 2014), and in late 2017, Two Plum Press will release The Three E.P.s, a collection comprised of three sections excerpted from three different full-length manuscripts. His poems have appeared in many lovely journals including Assaracus, Hobart, The Nervous Breakdown, The Fanzine, and Forklift, Ohio.

Nathan Wade Carter is a queer, grey-a poet, musician, and artist living in Portland, Oregon. His chapbook, ROYGBIV, is out on Ursus Americanus Press. His poetry can be found in Heavy Feather Review, Horse Less Press, Poor Claudia, Powder Keg Magazine, The Fem, and others. He is editor and founder of SUSAN / The Journal.
