Interviews with Josh Volk, Catherine McNeur, and Andy Fisher

On this episode of the Food Show we'll be playing rebroadcasts of past interviews. Josh Volk has worked in small farming for years. Since this interview, he has written and released the book "Compact Farms: 15 Proven Plans for Market Farms on 5 Acres or Less."

When I interviewed Catherine McNeur, she had just moved to Portland from New York. We talk about her book, "Taming Manhattan: Environmental Battles in the Antebellum City." We talked about how people ate in a time when pigs were roaming the streets of New York.

We'll also hear an interview with Andy Fisher from Food Sleuth Radio. Andy Fisher has worked on understanding and ending food insecurity for years and has written the book "Big Hunger: The Unholy Alliance Between Corporate America and Anti-Hunger Groups." Food Sleuth host Melissa Hemmelgarn interviews Andy Fisher.
