Gender Equity for Grocery Workers

18,000 grocery workers in Oregon and SW Washington are taking strike authorization votes this summer.  Pay equity for women workers is the main battle front in this union contract campaign.  Tena Burch-Wolski and Sam Hughes, current and former Fred Meyer workers, and union shop stewards, talk with host Jamie Partridge about the possibility of the first grocery strike in our area in over twenty years.
