KBOO COMMUNITY CALENDAR TUESDAY January 5th 2010
This is Paula with the KBOO Community Calendar for Tuesday, January 5th 2010.
Tonight at 7:30 pm, Matthew Flaming will be at Powell’s City of Books, located at 1005 W Burnside Street in Portland.
The maze-like streets of New York at the dawn of the mechanical age are the setting of Matthew Flaming's debut novel, The Kingdom of Ohio (Amy Einhorn Books), in which an unlikely duo find themselves wrestling with the nature of history, technology, and the unfolding of time itself. "A marvelous fable about the worlds beneath our feet and the conspiracies that turn our heads," cheers Kirkus Reviews (starred review).
