You are invited to join us on Transpositive PDX this Tuesday, November 5 at 6pm on KBOO Community Radio 90.7 FM as we celebrate the living and remember our dead. We will be joined by participants in this month's upcoming Transgender Day of Remembrance Interfaith Vigil, an annual observance of the Transgender Day of Remembrance by people of faith, that honors the memory of those whose lives were lost in anti-transgender violence.
The TDOR Interfatih Vigil will take place this year at the First Unitarian Church downtown on November 17th at 4pm. We will also be playing an interview we aired in 2016 with Gwendolyn Ann Smith, the founder of Transgender Day of Remembrance.
Transpositive is a monthly program in Portland exploring themes important to those who identify as Transgender, Gender Non Binary and Gender Non-Conforming. Transpositive tries to connect listeners with the ongoing activist, arts, culture, and dialogue happening in Portland and beyond.
