an Intimate Conversation with  the December 1st Writers

Please join us Tuesday, February 25th as we hear stories of our beloved who were gone before their time, as well as the living testimonies of people living succesfully for a lifetime with HIV.  December First Writers is a Portland, Oregon-based group of poets and writers who, since 2013, have been giving readings about how HIV/AIDS has impacted their lives personally. The four founding members are Marla Allen, David Rutiezer, Pat Vivian, and Sylvia Zingeser. We are dedicated to education, dialogue, and community building, and to raising awareness and support for AIDS organizations and resources in our community. This show was recorded on December 1, 2019, World AIDS Day.

Transpositive is a biweekly program in Portland exploring themes important to those who identify as Transgender, Gender Non Binary and Gender Non-Conforming. Transpositive tries to connect listeners with the ongoing activist, arts, culture, and dialogue happening in Portland and beyond.

Make your voice heard!

Transpositive PDX is open to new and experienced programmers, guests and events you want our community to know about. We are an open collective. Anyone identify as trans, gender non-binary, gender fluid is welcome to be part of our collective after completing some basic free radio training.
