Tonight at 6 pm, enjoy an opening reception of fine arts and crafts for the WCAC’s instructors and students. On display will be all styles of painting, drawing, sculpture, pottery, mosaic, and perhaps a few surprises.
Exhibiting instructors include Constance Adams, Jen Champlin, Alice Hill, Eileen Kane, Jan Su, Vicky Lynn Wilson and others. The Walters Cultural Arts Center 527 E Main Street Hillsboro, OR 97124.

Tonight at 6:30 pm is storytime, Family Storytime that is, at the Hillsboro Main Library – 2850 NE Brookwood Parkway, Hillsboro.
Picture books are read to the group interspersed with fingerplays and other activities. Lasts 30-45 minutes. We start with very simple stories and finish with more complex ones to appeal to the whole family.
This family fun event takes place every Tuesday this Summer.

Tomorrow night at 7 pm, join the Cascade Blues Association, for its monthly general membership meeting, at the Melody Ballroom, located at 615 SE Alder Street in Portland.
Madman Sam will perform the opening acoustic set, while The Ty Curtis Band will perform the second electric set. All ages are welcome.
