Nancie Koerber of Good Grief America about the foreclosure crisis
Insecure in our homes - insecure on the streets: A look at the growing foreclosure crisis and at the upcoming rally for police accountability
A growing number of Oregonians face foreclosure as the housing crisis continues to unfold. While the Obama administration claims the government is taking action - there's a growing number of progressives who think government's cure is not just ineffectual but may make things worse for many. This week, Jo Ann and Dave talk with Nancie Koerber of Good Grief America about whether mortgage relief is hurting or helping homeowners.
Also this week, Voices from the Edge takes a look at the AMA coalition rally for police accountability that is planned for this Saturday, September 25, at 10:30 am in Pioneer Courthouse Square.
Coming this month:
September 30: Free is not always a very good price. Jo Ann and Dave talk with the organizers of the Oregon Fair Trade Coalition about the impacts of free trade policies on Oregon and what new trade pacts are looming on the horizon.
Jo Ann Bowman is a former state legislator, former executive director of Oregon Action, and a long-time leader in the struggle for racial and economic justice.
