Rick Strassman, MD, is a Clinical Associate Professor of Psychiatry at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine and the author of DMT: The Spirit Molecule. His newest book is The Psychedelic Handbook: A Practical Guide to Psilocybin, LSD, Ketamine, MDMA, and DMT/Ayahuasca. Strassman was a keynote speaker at the Students for Sensible Drug Policy Summer Psychedelic Symposium.
