Our three-part tribute to the Art Ensemble of Chicago continues with an extra hour of the orchestral music of saxophonist Roscoe Mitchell. A perfect mixture of “jazz” improvisations and “chance” compositions, we will hear large orchestral pieces of music. And stay tuned on Thursday 30 November from 8:00 pm -Midnight (PST) for the grand finale, four hours of the best of the Art Ensemble of Chicago.
