On this edition of Century of Lies: Medical Psilocybin.
Colorado, New Mexico, and Oregon have all enacted measures to allow for the supervised use of psilocybin in psychotherapy. The state of New York may soon follow suit. The New York State Assembly’s Standing Committee on Health held a public hearing September 30 to examine the potential medicinal value and risks of psilocybin. We hear testimony from that hearing by psychiatrist, psychotherapist, and psychopharmacologist Dr. Kristel Carrington; Dr. Jordan Sloshower, a Clinical Instructor of Psychiatry at the Yale School of Medicine; and Carlton J. Spotswood, a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
Plus, Cleveland City Council members discuss the takeover by Ideastream Public Media of Cleveland State’s student-run community station WCSB.
