Carrie Siahpush is executive director of the PHAME Academy in Portland, a nonprofit organization that provides arts education and performance opportunities to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The school was founded in 1984 as an artistic complement to the Special Olympics and its focus on athletics.
