Sarika Mehta spoke with Thanhha Lai, author of Inside Out & Back Again. Thanhha Lai's semi-autobiographical book of prose poems won the 2011 National Book Award for Young Adult Literature as well as the 2012 Newberry Honor. She describes her experiences as a Vietnamese refugee in Alabama at the height of the Vietnam War.
