Panelists included Piper Kerman of Orange is the New Black fame; Fariborz Pakseresht, Director of the Oregon Youth Authority; Jennifer Williamson, State Rep for Disctrict 36; and Alverda McCoy of MercyCorps' Reentry Transition Center.  Frann and Iven also mention recent Frontline Documentaries , a recent ACLU Report on women in prison, and the possibility of prison abolition.
