Host Dab Steadman interviews Sheri Speede, Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and founder and director of the Sanaga-Yong Rescue Center for Chimpanzees in Cameroon, West Africa. She is the author of a memoir of the founding of the Chimp Center called "Kindred Beings- What Seventy-three Chimpanzees Taught Me About Life,Love and Connection".She is currently the head of In Defense of Animals- Africa and still directs the Chimpanzee Rescue Center where 72 chimps happily reside. She shares her time between Cameroon
