Today, they went before the U.S. Supreme Court to argue two cases (docket 1, 2) regarding Guantanamo detainees and habeas corpus. Described as "the showdown of the year" for the Court, the cases (Al Odah v. U.S. & Boumediene v. Bush) squarely challenge The Military Commissions Act of 2006.
