DOING NO EVIL WITH PORTLAND CITY INVESTMENTS
Teacher and Activist Hyung Nam joins the old Mole to discuss the Socially Responsible Investments Committee. Founded by the Portland City Council in December 2014, the SRI Committee is advisory to Council and charged with recommending corporate issuers for inclusion on, or removal from, the City's Corporate Securities Do-Not-Buy List in the City's direct investment in corporate securities. Next meeting is Monday, December 19, 2016 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., Portland Building, Room C, 2nd Floor for Public Comment on Apple, Intel, Microsoft. The committee's recomendations are listed here.
