This Saturday is March 4th and, to mark the date, supporters of Donald Trump have planned a series of rallies across the country called March 4 Trump. There is a local event -- Oregon March 4 Trump -- scheduled for noon on Saturday in Lake Oswego. Organizers expect a few hundred people to attend.
At the same time, there are several activist groups organizing a counter protest, called Stand For Love, and they're expecting an even larger crowd will be there to voice their opposition to the Trump administration.
To find out more, we spoke live in-studio with Jacob Bureros of Portland's Direct Action Alliance. We also talked with Jacob about the recent protests against Trump's immigration policies, including one on Monday, February 27th, at the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) building in SW Portland.
